It’s been two years since I posted this.   I find myself just as nostalgic  —-perhaps even more so now that my children are two years older.

…to live in such a beautiful community in Tokyo.  This is one of our beloved parks.

In Japan, there are a lot of ways to play.   First, I will introduce a game that we do not have in America.

When I first heard about swimming at school, I was surprised because there is no swimming class in America. 

Yes, we live in the heart of Tokyo —both literally and figuratively. 

When I first went to school in Japan, I was very nervous. 

A cafeteria’s sign proclaiming, “We are now serving reimen (cold noodles).”

He played the violin at his school’s morning assembly.

How nice that he has been able to share his skills in Tokyo as well.
