Glorious Moments

The magical season comes to an end.
The season brimmed with the serene joys of ordinary life.

The burst of laughter in the balcony.
Violin practice on the grass.
Pink bubble gum ice cream.
Merry-go-round.

The pictures may fade.
But years later, as I look back,
those will be glorious moments that can make me cry.

  1. How fascinating you and your are! I look forward to returning when I have more time to get acquainted with each of you through your writing.

Your poem captures the very essence of how I feel today as my two boys return to school and we kiss summer days goodbye. My post today encourages parents to cherish their children and the big ‘little’ moments you described.

    God bless you.
